Dumbarnie is a walking experience golf course. Buggies are only available for players with a medical certificate or a blue badge and a caddie must be taken to drive the buggy. Buggy use is subject to weather and course conditions on the the day of play and the decision of the Course Manager is final.
Single Caddies and Fore Caddies are subject to availability and should be requested in advance. Caddie fees and optional gratuity should be made directly to the Caddies in cash on the day of play. We will endeavour to fulfil all requests for caddies, however, caddie availability cannot always be guaranteed. Caddies requested and allocated in advance which are subsequently not required on the day of play will incur the full caddie fee.
All green fees include full use of our practice facilities prior to play. Practice facilities open 30 minutes prior to the first tee time of the day and include an all-grass range, short game area and large practice putting green.
Handicaps are not required to be shown on arrival, however, it is expected that our guests will be of a standard that they will play without delay and not hold up golfers behind them. Should golfers not be of a reasonable standard, and cause slow play, they will be asked to stand aside to let faster groups through. We expect players to keep up with the pace of play and we prefer players don't exceed the following: Gents 28, Ladies 45.
Pace of Play
Pace of play is typically around 4.5 hours. All matches should keep pace with the match in front and co-operate with Rangers when requested to do so. Golfers not keeping pace on the course will be asked to ‘stand aside’ to allow faster groups to play through.
